Hi,

I'd like to use whereami in order to configure my laptop.
First of all, may you give me some informations on how whereami works ?

I used guessnet where, when the /etc/network/interfaces was called, it
called the guessnet script which tried to discover the network and then
configured eth0 (or other devices). I'd like to understand how whereami
works...

Then, if you have some examples of detect.conf and/or whereami.conf ;-)
