Hallo!

First of all: After having had a hard time configuring whereami to fit
my needs, I must admit that I now *love* whereami. :)
Thanks, Andrew, for this fine piece of software.

Anyway, here's my question: To print out the current location (among
other stuff) on a desktop widget, I'd like to just get the current
location, but for obvious reasons without having to run whereami's
detection tests each time.

Unfortunately I found such option neither in the manpage, nor on the net
(Google, usenet, archive of this mailing list).

Is it possible to read out some file or environment variable to get the
last detected location?

My current workaround is to add a line like

  +somenet echo "somenet" > /home/pulsar/.whereami-location

to every network section in whereami.conf, but I'd rather avoid
reinventing the wheel. :)

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Lars
